One tree; countless lives touched
Donate a superfruit tree to an African community in need through the Tree22 Initiative non-profit charity project to provide food, training and countless job opportunities to those who need it most.
The tree of life was on each side of the river. It produces fruit twelve times a year, once each month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of all the nations.
Africa is the continent with the highest rates of unemployment and poverty, and almost three million children are dying of hunger annually. In 2021 the COVID-19 pandemic left more than 500 million people on the continent at risk of falling below the extreme poverty line.
About the non-profit Tree22 Initiative project
Tree22 allows you to give a gift that continues to provide, harvest after harvest. Every tree planted on our farms in Africa supplies nutritious superfruit to feed vulnerable children, priceless training opportunities and work for families who are in desperate need. As a project of the South African non-profit organization Communities of Abundance, Tree22 is led by a deeply passionate, experienced and knowledgeable team with deep roots in the communities they serve.

Welcome to Ashanti Farm, South Africa
Where our superfruit trees grow…
Ashanti Farm in the Western Cape province of South Africa is the birthplace of Tree22 and also where the first superfruit trees are located to support communities in need in the area.
Situated on 110 acres of agricultural land, Ashanti’s trees are watered from a large dam on the farm. Its location close to the town of Paarl makes it an ideal place from which to serve the about 4 000 unemployed people of the Paarl East community

over the next five years
11 million meals
The superfruit from your tree, whether it is a Moringa tree or a berry bush, is carefully nurtured and harvested to fortify instant nutritional meals for vulnerable children.
1 000 trainees
Every tree offers an opportunity to pass down invaluable skills to empower communities. Trainees receive both agricultural and life skills training.
200 jobs
Your donated tree opens up job opportunities for the workers that are trained to carefully nurture each tree for years to come. More mouths are fed and more families are supported.
